What does it mean when God makes a promise? Abram's moment with God, when He promises descendants as numerous as the stars, is a powerful example of God’s unshakable faithfulness. Though Abram faced uncertainty, God’s covenant assured him that His presence would guide and provide for future generations. This story speaks to us today. In a world full of broken promises, God’s word stands firm. As Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds us, He will never leave or forsake us. No matter how uncertain life may feel, we can trust that God's promises are true and that His covenant of love and faithfulness extends to us as well. Will you trust Him today?
