Psalm 29:11
What are you relying on to face your giants? When David stepped onto the battlefield, he wore no armor and carried no sword. The king’s protection didn’t fit him. Instead, he chose a sling and five stones—tools familiar from his days as a shepherd. His confidence wasn’t in his weapon, but in the One who had delivered him before. That quiet trust gave him the boldness to stand before the enemy without fear. We often try to armor ourselves with the world’s success, image, and control strategies. But God invites us to trust Him with what we already have and who He’s already made us to be. Strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like showing up, trusting God, and letting Him do the heavy lifting. Victory doesn’t depend on size or status, but on surrender to the Lord who blesses His people with peace.
