2 Corinthians 10:4
Where do you see walls that feel impossible to overcome? In 2 Samuel 5, David faces Jerusalem—a fortress that had defied Israel for generations. Yet instead of storming its gates, David finds a hidden way in. His victory isn’t marked by loud conquest but quiet courage and trust in God’s guidance. We all face strongholds: habits we can’t break, fears that seem too big, situations we can’t control. It’s easy to think we need louder strategies or greater strength. But God’s ways are different. He works through surrender, not spectacle. Real victories begin when we let go of pride and trust Him to show the hidden path. Today, ask yourself: am I relying on my own strength, or am I humbling myself before God? Like David, may we find courage not just to face high walls, but to follow God through the quieter, unseen ways that lead to true freedom.
