2 Corinthians 12:9
Have you ever felt unqualified for what God is calling you to do? Barak did. When Deborah summoned him to lead Israel against Sisera, he hesitated. His faith faltered. But Deborah didn’t shame him—she went with him. Her confidence wasn’t in Barak’s bravery or her own authority. It was in the God who spoke through her. God promised deliverance, and He would bring it—through unexpected means. Not by might, but by faith. Like Deborah, we’re called to trust God when others hesitate, to lead with courage that’s rooted in God’s promises. And like Barak, we’re invited to obey even when fear clouds our vision. God’s strength shines brightest when we feel our weakest. Don’t wait until you feel strong—step forward in faith, trusting the One who goes before you.
