Romans 4:9
What does it mean to have faith credited as righteousness? Abraham’s life shows us that faith is more than belief—it’s an active trust in God, especially when we cannot see the outcome. As Isaac prepares to say goodbye to his father, he sees firsthand the strength of Abraham’s faith and the enduring power of God’s promises. Abraham’s life teaches us that God values a willing heart over a perfect one. Like Isaac, we are invited to receive and carry forward a legacy of trust. Our circumstances may be uncertain, but God’s promises are sure. Embracing our covenant with God means choosing faith daily, knowing He is working beyond what we can see. Just as Abraham’s faith was credited to him, our own acts of faith draw us closer to God, one step at a time.
