Num 12
Have you ever compared yourself to someone else and felt overlooked or unappreciated? Miriam did. In Numbers 12, Miriam and Aaron questioned Moses’ leadership, fueled by pride and envy. They forgot it was God who appointed Moses, and in doing so, they challenged God Himself. It’s easy to fall into the same trap—seeking recognition or feeling slighted when others are elevated. But God calls us to humility. James 4:10 reminds us, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” When we let go of pride and trust God’s timing, He honors us in ways we could never imagine. Today, let’s focus on serving quietly, knowing that God sees our hearts and rewards those who walk humbly with Him.
