2 Corinthians 1:20
What happens when we’re close to the finish line but don’t get to cross it? As Moses stands on the edge of the Promised Land, knowing he won’t enter it, he still trusts God’s plan. He doesn’t complain or try to change God’s mind—he focuses on the next generation and ensures they’re ready to carry the mission forward. In Numbers 26, we see a new census—new people, same promise. God is showing that even when leaders change, His promises stand firm. Like Moses, we may not see every promise fulfilled in our lifetime, but that doesn’t make God any less faithful. His plans often stretch beyond our view but never beyond His care. We can trust Him with what we don’t see. Whether we’re waiting, watching, or walking into something new, let’s live like His promises are already in motion—because they are.
