James 4:10
Have you ever reached the end of yourself? Samson was once a man of unmatched strength, yet his downfall began the moment he believed the power was his to control. He burned bridges—literally and figuratively—chasing vengeance and pride. But in his lowest moment, blinded and bound, he did something he hadn’t done in a long time: he turned back to God. God didn’t need Samson’s strength to accomplish His purpose. He needed his surrender. When Samson yielded, even in weakness, God used him to deliver Israel one last time. In our own lives, we may feel strong and capable, but when we rely on ourselves, we stray. True strength is found in letting go—when we humble ourselves before God, He lifts us up. Where do you need to stop fighting and start surrendering? God’s power is made perfect in our weakness.
