2 Corinthians 12:9
Have you ever felt like you didn’t have what it takes to make a difference? Shamgar wasn’t a soldier. He didn’t wield a sword or command an army. He had an oxgoad—a farming tool. Yet with it, God empowered him to defeat 600 Philistines and protect His people. That’s the power of a surrendered life. Shamgar didn’t wait to be equipped with better tools. He acted in faith, using what was already in his hand. God doesn’t wait for us to have everything figured out before He calls us. He simply asks for obedience. Today, He invites us to trust that even small acts—kindness to a neighbor, faithfulness in a task, a whispered prayer—can be used in His grand plan. Like Shamgar, we’re called not to be perfect, but to be willing.
