Psalm 145:8
Why does God allow hardships before deliverance? The plagues in Egypt were not just punishments; they were warnings, each giving Pharaoh a chance to repent. But Pharaoh’s heart grew harder, resisting God’s call. How often do we do the same—ignoring warnings, pushing forward in pride, unwilling to yield? Hardships can either soften us or make us stubborn. When trials come, we can trust that God is not absent. He is patient, offering us time to turn back to Him. But if we resist, we risk becoming like Pharaoh—unmoved even in the face of undeniable truth. Instead, let’s choose faith. Let’s surrender our hearts before circumstances force them to break. God’s mercy is waiting—will we accept it?
