Psalm 37:4
What do we do when God’s promises finally come true? After years of wandering, battles, and waiting, the Israelites finally entered their inheritance. Joshua divided the land just as God had promised Abraham. Yet, as the eastern tribes returned home, suspicion flared—raising the question: Can blessings become burdens if trust is lacking? God’s promises are always fulfilled, but how we handle them matters. When we finally receive what we’ve long prayed for—whether it’s a relationship, a new opportunity, or a place of peace—it tests our hearts. Will we use the blessing to build unity or allow insecurity to divide us? Let’s not forget that the same God who gives also calls us to steward well. As we wait on His timing, may we also be people who receive with grace, walk in trust, and use every blessing to draw closer to one another and to Him.
