Psalm 19:7
Do you see God’s commands as a burden or a blessing? At Mount Sinai, His voice thundered as He gave the Ten Commandments—laws meant to guide His people toward life, not restrict them. Yet, human nature resists boundaries, believing freedom comes from doing whatever we please. True freedom, however, is found in walking in step with God’s will. His laws are not chains but guardrails, protecting and directing us toward what is good. When we embrace His commandments, we align ourselves with His wisdom, experiencing a life of peace, purpose, and blessing. Instead of resisting His guidance, we can trust that every word He speaks is for our good. How do you view God’s commands? Ask Him today for a heart that delights in His ways, knowing that there is true life in obedience.
