Luke 10:19
What do you do when you face opposition? When Moses and Aaron stood before Pharaoh, they carried only God’s word and a staff. Yet, when Aaron cast his staff to the ground and it became a serpent, it was a sign that God’s power was greater than Pharaoh’s. Even when the magicians imitated the miracle, Aaron’s staff swallowed theirs, proving that no power can stand against God. Like Pharaoh’s magicians, the world offers counterfeits—false security, temporary victories, and distractions from God’s truth. But in Christ, we have real authority over fear, sin, and darkness. Luke 10:19 reminds us that we have power to tread on serpents, not because of who we are, but because of who God is. Stand firm in His strength, knowing that His victory is already won.
