1 Samuel 28:7
What do you do when God seems silent? Saul once walked closely with God, but when fear and uncertainty pressed in, he couldn’t wait. Instead of repenting or trusting, he sought answers from a medium—something God strictly forbade. In desperation, Saul broke the very covenant that once defined him, showing how fear can lead us away from faith if we’re not grounded in God’s Word. Waiting on God can be the hardest part of faith. But silence is not absence. It’s often in the waiting that God prepares us, stretches us, and teaches us to trust Him more deeply. Resist the temptation to fill silence with noise. Let it lead you back to Scripture, prayer, and trust. Don’t trade God’s voice for something counterfeit. His guidance will come—in His time, not ours.
